It is within this context that, from 21 to 23 October 2026, Fi-Plast will take part in the 12th edition of Triestespresso Expo, the international B2B trade fair dedicated to the espresso coffee supply chain.
The event will take place at the Generali Convention Center Trieste, where Fi-Plast will be exhibiting in Hall 28 – Stand 7 with Estabio®, its family of biodegradable and compostable compounds whose applications include the production of capsules for coffee and other beverages.
TRIESTE AND COFFEE: A CONNECTION THAT SPANS THE ENTIRE SUPPLY CHAIN
Trieste’s connection with coffee goes far beyond espresso culture. Its port has long been one of Italy’s main entry points for green coffee, and an entire network of companies and professionals has developed around this raw material, covering different stages of the supply chain.
This strong vocation makes the city a particularly significant meeting place for coffee industry professionals and an ideal setting in which to discuss the transformations shaping the sector.
Triestespresso Expo stems directly from this identity and returns in 2026 with a format even more strongly focused on business and international relations. The previous edition welcomed visitors from 51 foreign countries, while this year the event will place particular emphasis on the markets of Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean region.
AN INTERNATIONAL WEEK DEDICATED TO THE WORLD OF COFFEE
The 2026 edition of Triestespresso Expo will be part of an even broader calendar of events. On 19 and 20 October, immediately before the trade fair, Trieste will host the International Coffee Convention, an event dedicated to key topics shaping the future of the sector.
The proximity of the two events will bring coffee industry professionals, companies, buyers and experts to Trieste over the course of one week, further strengthening the international profile of both the city and the trade fair.
From 21 to 23 October, Triestespresso Expo will then put the B2B and commercial dimension of the supply chain at centre stage. The 2026 edition will feature matchmaking activities, workshops, technical and regulatory updates, as well as sessions dedicated to emerging market trends.
Each of the three days will focus on different topics, ranging from logistics and new coffee trade routes to opportunities in Central and Eastern European and Mediterranean markets, as well as technologies, machinery and equipment for the coffee industry.
For Fi-Plast, this will provide a particularly valuable opportunity to meet roasters, manufacturers, vending industry operators, distributors, buyers and international professionals, and to engage directly with the different needs of the supply chain.
ESTABIO® FOR THE COFFEE AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY
